"Butter Bean Hummus" - Better and Cheaper Than Original Hummus! (and about as quick as making a cup of coffee)

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tin of butter beans

  • 1/4 cup tahini

  • 1 clove garlic

  • Solid dose of salt (add more to taste)

  • 1-2 tbs of extra virgin olive oil

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

  • Brine from butter beans




Method:


  1. Pretty easy. Throw everything except for the brine into a blender, food processor or Nutribullet.

  2. Blitz until smooth and thick.

  3. Add brine slowly, blending until desired consistency is reached.

  4. And done! Put in a jar to store in the fridge, and use within two weeks.
